System Integration Engineer
The company needs a system integration engineer with at least five years’ experience in systems development and project management preferably in a medical device company.
The successful candidate will work in a group developing portable/mobile diagnostic equipment, located in Milan (Italy), under the direct supervision of the CTO; his main responsibility will be coordination of system integration and project management. He/She will interface the internal development group and the OEM companies developing system electronics and software to drive and monitor the development of the whole diagnostic system integrating Lab-on-Chip technology with electronics, software and industrial design.
He/She will also manage the developing timeline, in pace with the company objectives.
The ideal candidate has a PhD or an Italian second level Laurea degree in electronic engineering or software engineering with hardware specialization and at least 7-10 years of industrial experience in structured organizations. An experience in electronic system integration and in drafting development requirements and project management is required. Experience in the qualification process and industrialization of electronic devices is considered a plus.
He/she will be responsible for driving the project execution of the new devices in the product portfolio pipeline, coordinating the technical requirements specification documents, the project planning execution and monitoring, the project cost and timeline management.
He/she will collaborate with CTO to define the project pipeline priority.
He/she will coordinate the activity of the project teams, the internal development team and the external sub-contractors and suppliers.
